ASSISTANT LETTINGS MANAGER - FITZROVIA

Dove & Hawk are working alongside a successful independent estate agency who are looking to recruit an Assistant Lettings Manager for their office in Fitzrovia. This will suit an experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator or Assistant Manager who is looking to join a growing company which can offer longevity and career progression.

Duties/Functions of the role:

  • Managing and overseeing the lettings process from start to finish, working closely with their team members.
  • Conducting property viewings and capturing video tours.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all properties and providing weekly updates to the director.
  • Liaising with landlords to provide updates on property performance and market trends.
  • Addressing tenant and landlord concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Creating market appraisals for lettings using our database.
  • Prospecting new clients by phone (mostly warm leads), email, and other channels, supported by the director's contacts.
  • Scheduling and diarising follow-ups with clients and landlords.
  • Monitoring competitor properties on Rightmove, Zoopla, etc.
  • Sending and chasing terms of business and instruction agreements.
  • Ensuring Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance.
  • Recording data on Excel and (CRM (tbc)).
  • Obtaining furniture quotations from approved companies (50/50 commission split).
  • Providing training and support to team members.
  • Travelling overseas to meet clients (subject to discussion).

Requirements of the role:

  • Strong experience in residential lettings.
  • A proactive and creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and develop strong client relationships.
  • Confidence in speaking with clients over the phone and securing new instructions.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in administration, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
  • In-depth understanding of lettings legislation, including the forthcoming ''Lettings Reform Bill''.

Team Support:
You will be supported by the wider team for functions such as call handling, most lettings progression, documentation, some compliance, portal uploads, brochures, and aftercare.

Salary Budgets: £25,000 - £30,000 basic DOE, £55,000 - £60,000 OTE

Required working hours: Hybrid - Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, every other Saturday (if required) 2 days in the office, 3 WFH.
