Job Opportunity: Joinery Working Foreman
Location: Primarily Northumberland, with work extending into Yorkshire, Lancashire, and occasionally the South
Start Date: Pending site clearance (approx. 4-5 weeks)
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (35 hours/week paid)
Payment: CIS
Contract: Ongoing long-term work

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Working Joinery Foreman to lead and support the installation of high-quality, bespoke joinery products for a reputable client. This is long-term, ongoing work with a well-established company known for delivering premium bespoke joinery nationwide.
While work is primarily based in Northumberland, projects may extend into Yorkshire, Lancashire, and occasionally southern regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and oversee the fitting of client-made bespoke joinery products

  • Lead and supervise a small on-site team

  • Manage and assist with deliveries, material collection, and site coordination

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, site safety, and compliance

  • Liaise with site teams and ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

  • SMSTS certification (SSSTS Considered)

  • Strong practical background in joinery/fitting

  • Experience working with bespoke joinery items

  • Basic DBS

  • Own tools and PPE

  • Ability to effectively manage tasks, supervise others, and work hands-on

  • Suitable interim work while awaiting clearance
