Are you a highly skilled Site Manager looking for a freelance contract to commence in August and have previous dredging/earthworks experience? If so, we would love to discuss this role with you as it would be working for a highly respected specialist earthworks contractor and they are looking for a talented individual to help lead their team on a unique project.
Working as part of their on-site team, you will be managing the workforce on a project which will undertake dredging from barges. The project will be undertaken over approximately 20 weeks so you'll be set up for the rest of the year on a great freelance contract.
For this freelance contract, your main key responsibilities and duties will include:
*Close liaison with the Principle Contractor
*Daily and weekly resource planning
*Management of the work force
*Compiling method statements and seeking approval from the Principle Contractor
*Site administration including site diary and measurements of work completed
*Solving of technical issues
*Managing health and safety
You will be working for a highly reputable specialist contractor whose reputation for excellent means that they are continuously recommended for repeat business and so your already impressive CV will be bolstered from working with them.
If you feel that your skills and experience are just right for this role, you will also need to demonstrate:
*A qualification in Civil Engineering
*Earthworks and dredging experience
*Setting out experience
*Proven management experience as a stand-alone Site Manager
*A quick thinking problem solver with solid decision making capability
*SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
