HOUSE BUILDER - ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIRED

ROLE:

You will be working alongside the commercial team and will report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor. You will be office based however due to the nature of the business you will be required as when to visit sites and liaise with contract and project managers to ensure project completion on time scale and within budget.

EXPERINCE & REQUIREMENTS:

Working in the construction industry professional with good knowledge on construction costs and contracts. Also, cost planning and commercial management throughout the entire life cycle of the project from inception to post-completion and value determination. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' house building construction project experience. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be degree-educated in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline. They will also have 1+ years' experience, ideally within a Housebuilder or delivering Residential projects.

  • Budget Preparation
  • Valuations
  • Sub-Contract Procurement
  • Payments
  • Client interfacing
  • Assisting with the estimating team on cost and contractual matters
  • Forecasting
  • Sub-contract tender analysis

LOCATION:

Gloucester, Stonehouse very commutable to the M5 motorway.
