Travel expenses are paid at 40p per mile and accommodation, if needed, is covered as well.
Our client - a leading construction training company - is looking for a freelance construction Trainers/Assessor to deliver the following -
Flooring installation specialists
The role is freelance and can be organised to fit the assessors' schedule. The candidates are being assessed on the On Site Assessment and Training (OSAT) route - all experienced workers and are looking to get the NVQ to be able to apply for the CSCS card.
The assessor will be working with the company to help candidates achieve their NVQs, requiring regular contact and updates in keeping with the service provision. The role is performed independently however there is support from IQAs and centre staff.
They will need to be familiar with e-portfolios, however training will be given by an IQA. They will also need to hold a relevant assessor qualification (such as A1 or TAQA) and ideally be qualified in the trade they are assessing such as NVQ or City & Guilds.
Previous experience as an OSAT assessor is desirable, in addition familiarity with the awarding body Cskills.
