Salary: £35-40k plus car allowance

The Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our sales team as UK Sales Manager to manage its Electrical, Transmission and Distribution business in the UK. This role focuses on leading the preparation, compliance, profitability and negotiations of major tenders with potential values ranging from £5k to £1.5m, as well as the processing of following contracts.
The UK Sales Manager will be managing a small team including Customer Service Advisors and a Technical Representative.
The Company is looking for a dynamic self-starter with a proven record showing a proactive approach to winning tenders and contracts.
The candidate must live in commuting distance to Andover, or be willing to relocate.
The Candidate:
Qualifications
- Business Degree or equivalent experience essential.
Experience
- ERP
- Leadership - office/departmental management
Knowledge & Skills
- A technical (mechanical)/engineering background and/or previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
- IT literate.
- Attention to detail.
- Understanding, development and working to Standard Operating Procedures.

- Entertain employees from other PLP sister companies when in the UK.
- Office based with frequent visits to client locations and overseas, potentially outside of core hours. (Overtime is not paid for, travel and may include weekends).
