We have been appointed by a specialist supplier of Cross-Laminated Timber building solutions to find an enthusiastic and ambitious experienced Architectural Technician to join their dynamic, in-house team of Technicians.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to join the UK's leading CLT specialist. You will work closely with the Senior Architectural Technician in order to expand and broaden your knowledge on all aspects of the job, working on some great designs for some high-profile projects and to the highest of standards.

Key Requirements for the Role:
:: Experience and qualifications in Architectural Technology
:: Bags of enthusiasm tempered with a highly organised and disciplined approach
:: Good knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit - knowledge of hsbCAD is highly advantageous
:: A knowledge of, and a very real passion for technical design.
:: Good numerical skills
:: Attention to detail
:: Strong communication skills

The role:
:: Create 3D hsbCAD AutoCAD superstructure model
:: Generate set of 2D fabrication drawings
:: Create site drawings for construction
:: Independently undertake and manage your workload under the direction of your Line Manager
:: Receive base drawings/coordinated construction issue from external project team/client
:: Attend weekly in-house project progress meetings
:: Liaise with design team on revisions and updated drawings, in collaboration with the project co-ordinators
:: Support other team members including junior designers in acquiring knowledge and developing relevant skills
