Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Projects in South West and South East England
Salary: c. £40,000 per year with an excellent package
Sector: Light Gauge Steel Framing

We are looking for a site manager with experience of Offsite Framing systems (Light Gauge or Timber) to work on projects running from 8-28 weeks in duration. Working away from Monday - Friday will be necessary for this role. Any travel and accommodation will be fully expensed within a supportive culture that understands the importance of work-life balance.

Recruiting immediately, this business has immediate projects in the South West and will be working between this region and the South East for their next five projects. Many members of the team have worked here for over ten years, and some have been here for forty years! This opportunity is best suited to a career minded candidate who wants to grow and progress within a proven and credible contractor.

The Role:

  • Managing installation and build of Light Gauge Framed Panels
  • Producing RAMS, Method Statements and Safety Plans
  • Co-ordinating lifts and installation
  • Logistic scheduling for deliveries and trades schedule
  • Manage sub-contractors and maintain strong relationships with trusted partners
  • Maintain site records and keep Contracts Manager updated with progress and issues
  • Working away from Monday - Friday
  • Working on Multi-Storey projects such as Student Accommodation, Hotels
  • Project values of £600k - £2.5M


The Person:

  • Proven experience in delivering Offsite Framing projects
  • CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid tickets as a minimum
  • Lifting experience is preferred
  • A hard worker with a can-do attitude
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
