We have been working with a major supplier of Engineered Wood Products for over five years now; they take great pride in their leading position in the UK's marketplace to find candidates who have some experience and working knowledge of Timber Engineered Roof Truss Design. Having placed a number of successful candidates with this company they are now looking for a Technical Area Sales Manager to join their team in the South West.
The Role:
We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly organised and disciplined individual with a passion to embark upon a career path in technical design and sales.
The key performance areas of this role will involve:
- Interpreting architect's drawings
- Building and maintaining key accounts and customers
- Providing effective commercial solutions to customers including quotations and detailed designs
- Providing support and advice to customers and the production team whilst ensuring total customer satisfaction
Skills required:
- Knowledge of construction design (ideally timber engineering, roof truss, timber frame etc)
- Excellent numerical skills
- Systematic and methodical with a good attention to detail
- Strives to continuously improve performance
- An effective communicator
