Fee Rate: £18.50 per hour plus statutory Holiday pay

Protocol is pleased to be working alongside a leading Further Education provider, which requires a Senior Technician in Architecture for a position starting in November 2017. This role is to cover split paternity leave -
13th - 20th November
4th - 8th December
15th - 19th January
12th - 16th February
12th - 16th March
This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your skills at Further Education level and inspire the next generation. Working in a vibrant and positive learning environment, you will be responsible for - providing technical support to staff within the D&T /Art faculty, preparing and cutting materials using a circular saw etc, ordering and maintaining stock, carrying out first line servicing of machines and equipment, assisting teachers during lessons and supporting students as required. Compliance with necessary health and safety requirements will be a major feature of this role. You should have previous wood and metal workshop related experience, or have relevant experience within a similar context. You should also have the ability to prioritise a busy workload, and good communication skills. An understanding of Laser cutting and CAD/CAM manufacturing is desirable
