September 20, 2017 | Comments Off on Construction Planner – Major Mixed Use Scheme – East London

A progressive main contractor has a requirement for a Construction Planner to work on a £100m+ regeneration scheme in Central/East London. The project is a mixed use development dominated by residential but with commercial and retail elements included and our client is seeking an Intermediate Planner with a background in construction who is perhaps looking to take the next step up albeit with a support network around him/her. A vastly experienced Senior Planner is already in place on this project and thus the role will involve working directly alongside him to ensure that the scheme progresses in accordance with the detailed and somewhat complicated plan. The planning team is based in Central London but you'll be predominantly out on site for the initial 12 months, while this project takes shape. "On the job" training will be provided as well as a personal development plan from your overall Director; you can expect to learn a lot in this role!

The successful candidate will have the following:
- Previous experience in a construction planning role with an understanding of UK construction techniques.
- Project experience is irrelevant in terms of size provided that the fundamentals of planning have been fully taken on board.
- Proficient with Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera software.
- A genuine desire to continue to learn, develop and progress career - there will be plenty of training available.
- Eligible to work in the UK.

Our client is offering a basic salary of between £45,000 and £52,000 per annum plus a comprehensive benefits package for this role, dependent upon level of experience, training, etc.
