Operational Support Co-Ordinator
Location: St Austell
Kier Utilities is looking to recruit an Operational Support Co-Ordinator who will report to the Compliance Manager. The successful post-holder will be responsible for managing the training provided to direct and supply chain employees on the Western Power Distribution and South West Water Contracts in the South West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the training for up to 150 people. Liaise with supply chain and direct operational team managers to arrange training.
- Monitor the whole process associated with the training courses.
- Maintain and co-ordinating departmental databases (MARS), collating and recording health & safety records, to include briefings, inspections, holidays/absence, hazard spots.
- Manage the control of personnel certificates for issue.
- Deal with all routine queries so that an appropriate response is provided
- Maintain sector records and liaise/update Kier and contract depots.
- General operational support and assist the manager and team with additional general duties as may be required.
- Collate and prepare all data for various monthly reports, ensuring timely submission to deadlines. Liaise with contract/client personnel.
- Provide support and cover for Operational Support Manager.
- Support the Compliance Manager with ad hoc or project based administration
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the management of training
- Good standard of educatio
- Previous administrative experience, including the use of databases
- Must be IT literate with understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Efficient and professional approach with the ability to multi-task
- Possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills
- General willingness to be helpful, enthusiastic and flexible
- Able to work as an individual and as part of a team
