An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Manager to join Marshall Eaton Ltd, based in Farnham. You will be naturally conscientious, with a good eye for detail with an organised and methodical approach where you can plan and multi task.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the process and management of purchase orders across a multi-site organisation and all relevant administration
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and help develop new relationships
- Analysing past purchases and raising orders with suppliers
- Booking in deliveries from external suppliers
Requirements:
- Applicants should have relevant purchasing/administrative experience
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently, can use own initiative when required
- Analytical approach with attention to detail
- A Level standard of education and/or purchasing qualification would be advantageous
- Building and construction experience would be an advantage
