Protocol are working with a leading FE organisation to recruit an Executive Director to lead and develop their plumbing & gas assessment centre.
The centre has an excellent track record of providing Apprenticeship, Study Programme and Assessment services. The company is profitable and has achievement rates that are above the national average.
As part of their growth ambitions, the Board have agreed a package of investment allowing the centre to grow. As part of the investment strategy, the company will undertake the following developments:
*Develop new Apprenticeship training services in Smart Metering and Dual Fuel, permitting the company to trade with national companies, securing Apprenticeship Levy opportunities
*Create a management team and staff resource to double the size of the company over the next 3 years
*Rebranding and marketing plan to secure increase business from online sources
*Move to new premises, with new infrastructure and equipment
Supported by the College's core services, and the Board, they are seeking to appoint a talented commercial leader who will be able to lead the investment plan, securing new business. The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience.
*Experience of business development in industrial sectors
*Have a proven track record of leading a commercial company in the training sector
*Demonstrate people skills that develop an excellent team that continue to deliver high quality services for business and people using the services
*Knowledge of public funding sector and the necessary compliance and regulatory requirements
*Project planning, and implementation skills
*First class people skills, managing staff and client relationships
