In summary, the Head of Engineering will be responsible for the creation of a technical edge to the business. This will involve management of a small team of in-house personnel and a wider external team of consultants /advisers and shaping them into a strong collaborative technical capability within an innovative culture.
Working alongside Head of Operations and Commercial, the Head of Engineering will help provide engineering support to the Project Manager/Facility Managers for projects of varying types and complexity.
Head of Engineering will work closely with the BIM Designer to develop a platform that embraces the principles of BIM. It is planned to take the business to a BIM 2+ level within 2 years. Along with the Head of Commercial/Head of Operations, the successful candidate will build high impact teams within a small team's environment whilst leveraging off relevant external input.
Requirements:
:: Engineering degree qualified
:: Previous experience working in a technical environment
:: Understanding of all design phases, consultancy contracts, project management, cost engineering and innovation management
:: Software experience - Revit, BIM, SAP and 3D Modelling
