Job Role
For the role of Community Safety Officer you will provide front line customer service by reducing and resolving incidents of anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse and hate crimes and leading investigations into these reported incidents.
You will as Community Safety officer develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support customers
You will ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practices are achieved at all times.
You will as Community Safety Officer investigate and manage cases of anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse and hate crimes, interviewing where necessary complainants and alleged perpetrators, gather evidence, prepare notes, and any other types of documentation related to ongoing cases.
Person
You will have experience of dealing with anti social behaviour in a housing environment including litigation and experience of working in partnership with local authorities and the police.
You will have good knowledge and experience of managing nuisance, hate crimes and domestic abuse.
You must have good IT skills including MS Office, you must also be familiar with databases and report writing.
You must have excellent communication skills, with excellent negotiation and problems solving skills.
You must have a current enhanced DBS and a Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
