- Query resolution, dealing with complex invoice and order holds on an end to end basis, ensuring corrective action is in line with current process and policies.
- Act as a point of reference for training and education queries, run regular refresher and update training and workshops on hold resolution.
- Support business to reduce invoices on hold; report on progress using excel and pivot tables
- Liaise with site managers / procurement department / suppliers to resolve queries efficiently
- Promote discipline in goods receiving and accurate recording of deliveries by sites
- Identify common and reoccurring issues and escalate to management
- Receipt goods in Oracle eBS by entering GRNs against purchase orders in Oracle eBS
- New user access
- Manage BOOST communications to relevant parties
- Support with raising of POs and GRN for overhead spend
- Assist with supplier set up
- Work closely with PTP team to understand issues and processes
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an accounting role & understanding of fundamental accounting principles;
- Knowledge of construction materials would be advantageous
- Oracle eBS experience would be advantageous
- Accurate and confident written and verbal communication skills
- Possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills
- Persistent problem solver, an eye for detail
- Good IT skills, Oracle eBS, Outlook and Excel - intermediate (pivot tables and lookups)
- Capable of liaising with, supporting and influencing operational / commercial management
- Good standard of education
- Must be IT literate with understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Efficient and professional approach with the ability to multi-task
- General willingness to be helpful, enthusiastic and flexible
- Able to work as an individual and as part of a team
