We are working with a household name, backed by decades of experience in financial services, with particular expertise in residential and property financing around the globe. This is an opportunity to work with a company with unrivalled knowledge of housing who are now poised to enter the market with a revolutionary product, produced in their fully equipped modular housing factory and delivering their own fully in-house solution.

The role:
As part of the internal design team, you will be responsible for producing drawings and information to support the successful manufacture of modules by taking architectural information from Revit models and producing modularised designs. As an architectural designer you will be accountable for:

  • : Contributing to the day to day delivery of drawings and modelling, as well as assisting in all aspects of architectural design.
  • : Coordinating Revit model and BTL files for production as well as being responsible for the accuracy of designs and information sent to manufacturing departments ensuring model is suitable to be manufactured on site, reviewing & approving production documents.
  • : Identifying design details that may cause production issues, as well as developing in-house quality assurance procedures or checklists, issuing templates for each part of the manufacturing process to ensure efficient production.
  • : Ensuring drawings and documentation is produced in a structured way and held on appropriate systems to enable collaborative working by both internal and external design teams and producing all works in accordance with BIM protocols
  • : Working to project plans effectively and efficiently, raising issues when required adn allocating your time and resources effectively and fully utilising assets to produce optimal results.
  • : Staying up to date with the latest architectural best practices, concepts and BIM protocols.


Requirements:

  • : Degree qualified in Architecture/Architectural Technology
  • : Experience of using Revit
  • : Knowledge of BIM
  • : Engineering experience preferable but not essential
  • : High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • : Able to prioritise and work independently in an orderly and systematic way
  • : Capable of productively working within a team
  • : Great communication skills - both written and verbal
