Salary up to £55,000
Our client has been providing permanent build in modular format, providing new schools and school expansions for a number of years exceeding the performance of traditional build with the speed of modular. Whilst they have relationships with the surrounding local authorities of the Midlands, recent expansion in the manufacturing facilities is allowing growth into contracts across the whole of the UK.
The Role:
The company has a vacancy for an Architectural Technician to join the existing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid experience in the field and will have a proven track record of designing and specifying buildings from concept to project delivery. Including the provision of full packages including drawings, specifications and bills of material to allow the manufacture and delivery of modular buildings and houses.
Duties:
: Review and assess client information
: Produce plan, elevation and sectional drawings to accompany sales packages to clients
: Produce detailed specifications to accompany sales packages to clients
: Provide 3d visualisations of buildings in their intended location
: Attend meetings with clients to understand and agree scope and specification
: Attend client meetings following the issue of a sales package to further outline our proposals
: Source building materials and provide samples to clients and planners as required
: Submit planning applications together with all required information
: Submit Building Regulation applications and provide all supporting documentation dealing with queries as they arise
: Produce production drawings for manufacture including detailed plan drawings, component drawings, construction drawings and bills of materials
Requirements:
: Degree qualified in construction related discipline i.e. Architecture, Architectural Technology
: Previous experience working as an Architectural Technician in a similar environment
: Fully proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM
: Confident using Microsoft office - project and excel
: Understand UK building regulations
: Strong attention to detail
: Good communicator and can work well in a team
