** An exciting opportunity for an architect or assistant architect with superior design abilities to work on large scale projects incorporating world leading off-site technologies
We are working with a multi award winning design and engineering company with an integrated and collaborative approach to architecture, interiors, engineering, manufacturing and construction. They have a specific focus on the incorporation of off-site, prefabrication and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) principles into large building projects globally.
Formed in 1995, the company have been involved with many of the most impressive off-site developments including the largest and tallest volumetric modular buildings, and the tallest light gauge steel panel framed building.
They specialise in the residential sector, primarily large scale urban residential developments, hotels, and student accommodation, and one off private residential schemes, including Passivhaus projects. They have consulted on projects worldwide, recently including large scale modular residential projects for the Commonwealth Games 2018 in Brisbane.
What You'll Need for the role?
:: Excellent design and presentation skills
: Confident interpersonal and client facing skills
:: Pro-active attitude with a continuous desire to learn
:: Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and detailing
:: Technical experience would be an advantage
:: Working independently and meeting challenging deadlines
:: Software Requirements: Revit, BIM, AutoCAD
