Working alongside a carefully selected supply chain, this contractor offers far more than the manufacture and supply of steel structures. Their scope of works includes engineered timber, tensile fabric, structural glazing and ETFE foil. This allows this contractor to offer a comprehensive design and build solution to main contractors, direct clients and local authorities that makes them truly stand out from the crowd.

Due to an increased order book, an incredible opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to work with this award-winning steel structures contractor. Working across design, manufacture and install, this specialist sub-contractor puts passion and professionalism above all else. As such we wish to speak to individuals with a true passion for construction and innovative design.

This position is office based and as a Project Manager you will coordinate and supervise a wide variety of projects.

You will be involved in:

  • Manage and monitor projects through all stages from outset to Final Account.
  • Working with Estimator and Quantity Surveyors to prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables/project programs.
  • Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals
  • Report work progress and budget matters to clients
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists
  • Select, schedule, and coordinate subcontractor activities
  • Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
  • Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations
