Basic Circa £30-£40,000 OTE up to £60,000 + Car + Pension
Hampshire based - covering England & Wales


This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established family company, trading for over 30 years within the modular building industry.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the operational team, as Sales Manager you would be responsible for developing business plans and strategies to expand the customer base within the commercial sector, maximising income for the company and working towards agreed sales targets. This will include working on projects such as schools, nurseries, sports pavilions, commercial offices and community centres and covering a territory spanning England and Wales.

This is a critical role in promoting the company's professional approach to providing clients with a positive experience and the best possible customer service. You will be focusing on winning projects, from visiting sites and taking briefs to working with designers, estimating costs and liasing with subcontractors when necessary. Focusing mainly on commercial projects you will have strong relationships with Local Authorities, councils, Quantity Surveyors and end users.

The Role:

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • :Organising and managing the complete sales process within your sector, from enquiry to installation
  • :Preparing and agreeing sales targets, business plans and strategies for your sector, measuring and monitoring sales performance
  • :Creating and managing effective relationships with local authorities, councils, Professional Quantity Surveyors and other relevant parties, handling all sales enquiries
  • :Working with the client and team to design an appropriate building, ensuring they are kept up to date with progress
  • :Completing all tender documentation including conducting detailed site surveys, arranging the necessary site meetings and arranging and confirming specifications
  • :Building effective working relationships with your colleagues: formulation of health and safety plans, submitting Building Regulations, agreeing programme of works on site and managing any potential issues

About you:

  • :Experience selling a highly technical construction product
  • :Strong "hunter" sales personality with a proven ability to generate new business
  • :Strong relationships with Local Authorities and Councils
  • :Previous experience surveying and estimating
  • :Strong customer service focus
  • :Based in Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex or East Wiltshire


The Rewards:

Basic Salary Circa £30-40,000 commensurate with experience
Company Car or Car Allowance
Uncapped Bonus (potential to earn up to £60,000 on target)
Pension
