Our major client is looking to recruit X2 HV Electrical Engineers on a contract basis. The client envisages a 1 year contract with possibility of repeated extensions. Start date February 2018.
High Voltage Electrical Engineer main roles & responsibilities:
* Maintenance of company assets
* Planned & Reactive Maintenance of electrical substation equipment
* Attend various sub stations in the Lincolnshire - Cambridgeshire area
* Implement the relevant requirements of Safety, Quality, Environmental and Operational policy within the areas of responsibility.
* Conduct Senior HV Authorised Person duties
High Voltage Electrical Engineer Person Specification Essential:
* HV Electrical Sub Station maintenance experience
* Possess valid & current Senior Authorised Person Status
* Formal & relevant Electrical Qualifications
* Authorised and experienced to at least 11Kv
* Ideally reside between Scunthorpe and Peterborough
HV Electrical Engineer Person Specification Desirable:
* In addition to the above, possess WPD Certification (Western Power Distribution)
The client envisages a 1 year contract with the opportunity of repeated extensions or the potential of contract to permanent employment options.
