Electrician - Derbyshire - (£27,500+ company vehicle +company benefits)
Company
An opportunity has arisen within a Housing group based in Derbyshire which also covers other local Counties and has a high number of housing stock, projects have included retirement homes, social housing and private sector housing.
Job Role
You will be working as part of a team which is responsible for the repairs and maintenance management of the groups housing stock with primary aim being to provide a high quality maintenance and improvement service.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Attending pre-arranged repair appointments
- Working flexibly to enable repairs to be carried out at customers discretion
- Managing material stocks on van and learning to replenish the stock
- Being aware of and complying with the relevant risk assessments
- Commissions and test installations ensuring checks are made and issuing certification
- Receiving repair requests or direct instruction, offering an analysis of the work
You may also from time to time be required to volunteer to participate on the standby rota for outside of normal working time
Person
To be able to be considered for the role you must:
- Hold an NVQ level 3 in electrical installations & AM2 or equivalent
- Be qualified to the 17th edition of the electrical regulations BS7671
- Be qualified to C&G2391 inspection and testing or 2394/2395 inspection and testing
- Have practical knowledge of the building regulations (part p) and other relevant parts
- Hold a full , clean UK driving license
Other desirable qualifications include PV qualifications C&G 2399-11/12, PAT testing and to be in possession of C&G 2377-22 , 2377-32 and ECS health and safety for electrical works.
