Barker Ross are looking to grow their Milton Keynes Office. We require a number of Recruitment Consultants & Senior Recruitment Consultants to work in our Construction and Infrastructure Team.
The Construction and Infrastructure Team specialise in Senior Appointments (White Collar) across Permanent and Freelance Recruitment - Salaries for Perm; £40k+ and Freelance £300+ per day.
Experienced Consultants in "White Collar" Recruitment would be preferred, however any experience in Recruitment would be considered - training on Construction and Infrastructure Recruitment will be given.
Job Summary
To support the Director to deliver your individual GP targets, and work towards exceeding the team budgets, as outlined in the strategic plan. To develop new and existing client relationships and deliver a high level of customer service on a continued basis. To develop and grow a strong client, and candidate, database through focussed business development, candidate generation and networking.
Representing the Company
You are required to represent the Company in a positive and professional manner at all times. This shall include talking to applicants, candidates, clients and suppliers, communicating with colleagues and in general appearance and conduct.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and deal with all calls in a professional and friendly manner. Take messages where appropriate, and update details on IQX where required
- To deliver / exceed the required GP as outlined in the annual budgets
- To support the team and your colleagues in developing leads and delivering targets
- Undertake candidate generation via referrals, mailshots, cv searching (IQX and Job Boards) and other relevant mediums
- Take detailed job specs and ensure all vacancies are posted to IQX and relevant job boards
- Monitor and filter all cv responses and submittals
- Undertake telephone interviews with candidates to determine key information including availability
- Undertake face to face candidate registrations and first stage interviews
- Arrange Client interviews and provide feedback to the candidate
- Undertake candidate / client package negotiation
- Generate new contacts and qualify these along with relevant contact details (email/mobile no's)
- Generate leads from Candidates, clients, job advertisements and media postings
- Maintain and develop existing client relationships through telephone calls and regular service visits
- Develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, telephone calls and BD visits
- Manage and assist in the development of resourcers / trainee consultants as required
- Provide accurate predictions and develop a pipeline of feasible vacancies / placements
- Ensure that resourcers / administrators are delivering the expected standards for compliance and administrative responsibilities
