Our client is looking to recruit a CNC Setter/Operator to work as part of a specialist team responsible for setting & operating CNC milling machines (3, 4 and 5 axis) & on-line programming, to produce components to quality, time and budget in accordance with project manufacturing tolerances and schedules.
CNC Setter Operator
*Working on high value one-off components featuring complex surfaces made from high-tensile steels and aluminium, to tight tolerances and quality standards.
*You must have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models, and be able to competently set and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis vertical milling CNC machines.
*Online programming experience using Heidenhain controls is essential, with the ability to programme offline using Delcam PowerMill and PowerShape is highly preferable.
*The ideal applicant will possess relevant and transferable experience
*The successful candidate must satisfy security clearance requirements (including 5 years UK residency).
