SITE ENGINEER - Highways
Are you looking for your next contract assignment and have previous major highways experience? If you do, then we would love to discuss this role in more detail with you.
This position will see you joining an existing project team as part of a JV between two top tier contractors which will only enhance your CV and future contract prospects by working for these reputable organisations.
The right candidate will have previous experience on major road or highways projects. Your attention to detail is essential in order to complete all of the necessary administration required for this particular project. This position is a prime opportunity for you to showcase your setting out and supervisory skills which you will have been gained on previous contracts.
Your key responsibilities would include:
Setting out of the works
Interpreting and implementing of the construction process and procedure
Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
Monitoring and management of the nominated subcontractors and in house staff
Producing accurate daily diaries
Quality control in accordance to the specifications
Compiling As Built drawings
Enforcing Health and Safety compliance
If you feel that your skills and experience are perfect for this position, you will also need to demonstrate:
Extensive highways experience
Degree or HND in Civil Engineering
Hold a valid CSCS certification
First Aid qualification
Be CIS registered if working through a Limited Company
