Job Role
You will be working on various sites in and around the East Midlands
You will be responsible for undertaking repairs and maintenance work to a high standard with the 'right first time' ethic.
You will provide a cost effective service to the business and its customers.
You will be responsible for adhering to the organisations health and safety and environment policy at all times
Person
You will be fully qualified in your specified field, ie Bricklaying, Plastering, Electrics, Joinery, Plumbing and Roofing.
You will have at least NVQ level 2 or 3, with an appropriate CSCS card and an asbestos awareness qualification.
You will have experience of working within a local authority environment.
You must have a full UK driving licence
You will have specific qualifications for specific roles
- For the Electricians role you will need 17th edition and preferably testing and inspection (2391) qualification.
- For the Plumbing role you will Qualification at NVQ 3 or equivalent (Time Served) with good working knowledge of water regulations, Experience in 1st and 2nd fix plumbing. You will also have good knowledge of Vented-Unvented Hot Water Systems, also a PASMA qualification.
