Tenancy Compliance Officer (£14.14 paye or £17.69 through Umbrella) 3 month contract

Job Role

You will as the Tenancy Compliance Officer will assist in the development and implementation of strategies to resolve issues relating to tenancy disputes, breaches of tenancy conditions, nuisance and anti social behaviour, hate crimes and domestic violence

You will consider all available options and sanctions to resolve tenancy breeches and instigate any appropriate action to enforce tenancy conditions and interventions to encourage tenancy sustainment.

You will have primary responsibility for enforcement action for a designated area and where necessary provide appropriate support to complainants and witnesses.

You will ensure all computerised and manual recording systems are updated and maintained on an accurate timely basis, and make sure service requests are responded to within a prescribed timescale.

You will attend resident meetings and other meetings as appropriate.

You will need to provide as required written reports in relation to issues and events related to the assigned patch.

Person

You will have a relevant Housing qualification and have at least 2 years experience of ASB case handling for a local authority or RSL.

You will awareness of Current Housing issues and knowledge and experience of applying ASB legislation.

You must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with all kinds of situation in a calm and professional manner.

You will be able to interpret/implement policy, procedure and legislation.

You will be IT literate with good keyboard skills.

You must have a driving licence to be considered for this role
