Senior Construction Manager/Project Engineer
Tier one International multidisciplinary contractor seeks to employ an experienced and competent Senior Construction Manager/Project Engineer into their major projects division to manage a large reinforced concrete project. Your experience on large multi disciplinary heavy reinforced concrete projects will put you in pole position for this sought after post.
Your duties will include
Lead the delivery of the project inclusive of site control
Manage the interaction with all stakeholders e.g. client, designers and JV partners
Ensure that all the works are constructed as per spec and design
Oversee all safety, RAMS, permits, compliance and documentation requirements
Report to and attend executive meetings whilst continuously improving client relationships.
Be responsible for the programming and quality control
Simply put - you will be the go to person who manages the construction process whilst interacting and bringing together all the other site disciplines including mechanical, automation, design etc. Previous experience in a regulated environment like Oil and gas, petrochemical, energy is preferred.
The requirements include -
A Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma is preferable
UK project cycle experience on large Oil & Gas, petrochemical or energy type projects in excess of £200m
Extensive multidisciplinary and JV expertise experience highly recommended
Proven collaboration, leadership, negotiation and management skills
Contract strategy knowledge and commercially astute
