Kier Highways Recruitment Open Evening

The recruitment event will be held on:

Wednesday 10th January: 5:00pm - 8:00pm

 At

 Holiday Inn Birmingham M6 Junction 7, Chapel Lane, Great Barr, West Midlands, B43 7BG
Please drop in at any point during the evening to discuss the current vacancies with the Kier Highways team. Free parking will be available on site as well as complimentary refreshments.

What vacancies are we recruiting for?

We currently have a number of vacancies on our Highways England Area 9 contract based out of multiple offices and depots in the West Midlands, Worcestershire and Staffordshire region. The positions we have vacant include:
  • Highways Maintenance Operatives - Staff to deliver 24/7 road maintenance including maintaining structures, traffic management, support for the emergency services, winter maintenance, installation and repairs of barriers, kerbs and paving
  • Street Lighting Electricians - Staff to deliver 24/7 street lighting maintenance including installation, periodic testing and repairs
  • Site Management - Assistant Site Managers, Site Managers and Clerk of Works to oversee highways maintenance scheme delivery
  • Design Engineers - Technical specialists with previous experience in producing traffic, roads and structures engineering designs

At the event, we are looking for applicants who are collaborative, forward thinking and enthusiastic and would like to help Kier Highways keep our world on the move.

For all roles, we will require applicants to have a full UK driving license and proof of right to work in the UK.
