Location: Brixworth, Northampton
KierWSP is looking to recruit a Senior Financial Administrator who will report to the Commercial Manager on the Northamptonshire County Council contract.

Kier Highways design roads, bridges and intelligent transport systems (ITS), covering strategic and nationally important roads, as well as local roads serving local communities. Our projects range from major improvements to complete renewals of roads and structures. With specialist teams, we manage complex works from conception through to handover at the end of maintenance periods.
Job Purpose:
Financial administration of Highways Maintenance contract including cost capture, procurement and ensuring compliance with parent company financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep operative charge out rates up to date (excel knowledge required)
- Operative time sheet entry and check accuracy of operatives overtime/out of hour payments for submission to Payroll monthly
- Review and approve orders in Causeway, payments in ECM and payments by purchase card
- Raise requisition for supplier orders for material and plant
- Raise cheque requests
- GRN entry in to Causeway
- Liaison with parent company shared services including responding to queries
- Compliance with parent company deadlines
- Providing information for external and internal auditors
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar accounts role
- IT literate in Microsoft office applications
- Good people and communication skills
- Numeral literacy
- Able to operate in a team environment
- Understanding of Causeway, ECM, WMS and My Vision is preferable but training will be given
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Punctual and reliable
