Responsibilities:
- To undertake complex signalling design and checking with minimal rework in accordance with your signalling competency.
- To produce and check signalling specifications and other relevant documentation.
- To undertake and manage IDC checks associated with signalling design.
- Undertake role of Lead Engineer when required and within your skill level.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Conform to internal corporate rules, processes and/or procedures.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement.
- Maintain an IRSE log book which will be reviewed on a yearly basis.
- To assist as required or instructed, the Design Manager in the execution of his duties.
- Provide input in the compilation, review or approval of Quality Management System documentation.
- Complete timesheets on a weekly basis.
- Adhere to all statutory regulations, client standards or specifications where appropriate.
- To assist other colleagues in achieving their IRSE design licences. Mentoring or Training.
- Use a variety of IT packages to undertake your design duties.
- Hold IRSE Principal Designers Licence or demonstrate that working towards it.
- Up to date IRSE Log Book.
- Membership of the IRSE.
- IRSE Principle Designer's Licence.
- Registered Engineer.
- HND / BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
