Technical Engineer
Derbyshire
££ Salary up to £32,000


This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technical engineer to join a growing company which supplies award winning products to the construction industry.

The client that we are working with produces a range of bespoke solutions to meet the demands of commercial construction projects. THE ROLE:
- To prepare an accurate, competitive and detailed technical quote for IG Masonry Products based on information received via post, e-mail or fax
- Prioritise work appropriately to deliver quotes within set deadline
- Not only to specify standard off-the-shelf products, but also custom-made items designed specifically for relevant projects
- Prepare calculations at the customer's request to satisfy building control authority
- Answer technical phone queries and serve the customer with the highest level of technical and customer service
- Periodic office and site visits to develop customer relationships and to measure up/ solve technical issues
- Collate information and prepare clear and structured technical reports on findings from site.


REQUIREMENTS:
- 2:1 or above Degree from Engineering-related discipline e.g. Building/Civil/Structural Engineering
- Preferably 2 years+ Experience in a building engineering role
- Knowledge of the construction industry is essential (e.g. on-site experience)
- Experience of AutoCAD and Manufacturing drawings - knowledge of Solidworks would be desirable
- Focused on Customer Service with excellent communication skills
- Good organisational skills, target driven and ambitious
