I am currently trying to find the right candidates for a CAD Technician position I have going on the A14 project.
A background in construction is absolutely essential for the role as a keen understanding of the jargon, and the ability to work in a site environment is a must.
A working knowledge of Autocad a MUST, Civils and Structures.
The contract is part of one of the biggest and most interesting highways projects currently happening North of London and has a further 5 years+ to go so there's the opportunity for long term secure work and career progression.
I know a number of the site team you'll be working with and they're a great bunch that like to keep an enjoyable working environment and get the job done the right way, first time so if you have a conscientious approach to work and are able to adapt to the situation at hand this could be the perfect CAD job for you.
