We have an exciting short term opportunity for a CAD Draughtsman to work with the design team in central London for a major JV on HS2. You will have AutoCad Civil 3D experience.

Contractor Draftsman requirement:

  • Responsible for providing AutoCAD support throughout all the business sectors.
  • Preferable attributes to include civil engineering and surveying experience.
  • Preferably you will have an HNC qualification and a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Able to maintain a drawing library and archive system and have office skills.
  • Working with and alongside other members of the team and be able to prioritise workloads.
  • Civil 3d - Earthworks modelling and cut and fill volume calculations / manipulations. Drainage design helpful.

Skills:

  • Positive attitude, good communication skills, ability to raise issues while drawing
  • A thorough knowledge and good working experience in drawing on Autocad is essential (block, sequence, layer, coordinates)
