Our client is responsible for delivering a £965m section of the new High Speed Rail link between London and Birmingham.

22km project is from Ruislip to South Heath in Buckinghamshire. This consists of 15.8km twin Chiltern Tunnels and 3.4km Colne Valley Viaduct.

They have an opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

You must have proven ability to supervise and execute extensive ground investigation works with further opportunities in tunnelling earthworks and piling foundation works.

The work will involve:

Supervising ground investigation relating to tunnelling and earth moving operations in the Chiltern area.

The Person - Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Experience of ground investigations in the UK

Experience working in chalk preferable

BSc in Geological studies

Minimum 2-5 years' experience

Experience in tunnelling, foundation or earthworks desirable
