A great opportunity has arisen for Project/Site Manager that specialises in Bridge Erections based in Mansfield

You will have opportunity to work for a definitive, full-service expert in modular steel bridges, pontoon systems, RoRos and ferries for both civil and military purposes. Assisting their clients with any structural and technical issues, standards, knowledge, experience, stock and flexibility this is where they excel when it comes to bridges. It is not by chance that they are the market leader in Europe.
Job Role
You will be running and overseeing the build and supply programme that includes a range of temporary bridges.
You will be overseeing a team of tradesman that build temporary modular bridge systems that consist of plate girder bridge systems that can be coupled longitudinally or laterally, beam bridge systems with low-profile coupling, customized construction bridge systems, and adapted and hybrid panel bridge systems.
You will be building lightweight cycle and pedestrian bridges to heavyweight traffic bridges in large spans of up to over 100 metres.
You will be working from technical drawings with the latest Eurocode calculations and CE certification.
Person
You must be
- A experienced Site Manager/Supervisor in Bridge Works
- Have a good record of H&S and the relevant qualification
- Have A SMSTS or SSSTS
- A CSCS managers card
- A good understanding of technical drawings
- Be a good leader
- Able to demonstrate works with steel structures
- Be a hands on manager
- Willing to travel to various locations across the UK
