SETTING OUT ENGINEER - Highways
Are you looking for your next contract assignment and have previous major highways experience? If you do, then we would love to discuss this role in more detail with you.
The right candidate must have previous continuous setting out experience on major roads or highways projects. This position is a prime opportunity for you to showcase your setting out skills which you will have gained on previous contracts on drainage, comms, earthworks, RC bases etc.
Your key responsibilities would include:
Setting out of the works
Interpreting and implementing of the construction process and procedure
Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
Monitoring the nominated subcontractors and in house staff
Producing accurate daily diaries
Quality control in accordance to the specifications
Compiling As Built drawings
Enforcing Health and Safety
If you feel that your skills and experience are perfect for this position, you will also need to demonstrate:
Extensive setting out on highways/major roads experience
Degree or HND in Civil Engineering
Hold a valid CSCS certification
First Aid qualification
Be CIS registered if working through your Limited Company
