Kier Utilities are looking to recruit
1 plumber to be based in our
Bodmin and Paignton Depots working to a schedule of appointments. You will be ensuring safety of site, self and colleagues, quality of work and production with a focus on accurate detail and installing of internal meters on the clean water network.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out and complete internal meter exchanges and new installs. As well as metering surveys and external meter exchanges..
Inform Ganger and colleagues of problems.
To ensure all work complies with relevant Safety, Health and Environmental legislation.
Work is carried out to specification and defect free.
Recycling takes place whenever possible.
Ensure wastage of materials is kept to a minimum.
Work flexibly and carry out any suitable duty requested of you.
Represent Kier in a professional manner in both appearance and attitude
Be Punctual and available for work at the agreed times.
Full responsibility for the correct useage of PPE
Key Skills and Qualifications:
NRSWA Operative
You are required to have EUSR Water Hygiene/ Passport and be Cat & Genny Trained
You must hold an NVQ Level 2 Plumbing
Hold a UK driving licence
Have previous network work experience
You will be a committed, hardworking, reliable and punctual individual.
To be a good communicator and a good self-organiser
Generally to be willing, helpful, enthusiastic and flexible.
