Job Role

You will be working as Project Director for the organisation as a member of the Development Senior Leadership team. You will contribute to the development of strategy and planning with responsibility for the delivery of project the organisation undertakes.

You will will as Project Director keep abreast of statutory, political, regulatory and economic trends in the broader environment.

You will operate as a key contributor to deliver improvements through the implementation of strategy and planning across all projects, leading and working with colleagues to deliver a seamless and effective service for the organisations customers.

You will provide advice and information to the Executive, the Board and its committee to enable effective decision making.

You will be responsible for all aspects of delivery of an area of redevelopment within London. You will be responsible for acquisition of Land and leaseholder homes to facilitate redevelopment, discharging all necessary planning and other conditions, creating places with long term value and appeal.

You will be responsible for ensuring all risks within the project are identified, removed, minimised or balanced with appropriate rewards, ensuring all future plans are robust, tested and appropriate.

As the Project Director you will deliver the new build homes for rent, shared ownership, PRS and open market sale, so you will work closely with eh sales team to deliver all aspects of the marketing and selling of the new homes.

You will help promote a culture of great customer service, both internally and externally and within innovation, respect, collaborative working, efficiency and achievement within the project.

Person

For this role you must have a relevant professional qualification and have leadership experience gained in a complex organisation, including significant experience in London, engaged on house building and a wider infrastructure development.

You will have significant experience of leading large scale estate regeneration projects and experience of leading joint ventures would be desirable.

You must be able to provide evidence of achieving successful delivery of large multi phase developments to agreed quality, timetable and budget.

You must have extensive experience of engaging at the highest levels with chief officers and politicians, with a track record of representing an organisation at all levels.

A track record of influencing Committee level stakeholders and the personal impact and confidence to challenge.

Experience of working within a regulatory sector, with proven knowledge of related and relevant legal, regulatory, operational and strategic management issues.

You must have effective verbal and written communication skills enabling you to communicate with Boards/Committees and Executives.
