Our major client is looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager.
Maintenance Manager Job Purpose:
To oversee and deliver all aspects of asset maintenance ranging from proactive systems of work and asset care through to 24/7 reactive response repair and maintenance ensuring that the site team operate safely and to sound engineering practices and have the skills, competencies, tools and materials to undertake such works.
Maintenance Manager main roles & responsibilities will be to:
*Deliver whole task management for all resources, both core and sub-contract
*Ensure asset care plans exist for all key equipment
*Align spares policy and spares holding with site criticality
*Ensure all work delivered to committed schedules
*Deliver cost effective, robust service and value adding solutions
*Manage and control all costs associated with the provision of site maintenance, including forecasting and reporting
*Develop contracts strategy and roadmap ensuring core skills are retained within the site team
*Deliver exemplar HSE performance - Zero Accidents, Zero Incidents
*Uphold client and Cape purpose and core values
*Ensure robust, aligned Safe Systems of Work are maintained at all times
*Deliver exemplar Quality performance - Zero Rework
*Implement and manage continuous improvement mindset and systems, complete with annual improvement plans
*Ensure all work executed in accordance with Sound Engineering Practice, Site Standards, Regulatory Requirements and Legislation
*Provide leadership for all team and delivery related issues
*Develop teams skills and competencies
*Interface with client team, heading up all maintenance initiatives
*Manage deployment of labour across both reactive and proactive maintenance
*Manage forward labour projections and obtain resources to support demand
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
*Commercial post apprenticeship experience in the petrochemical, refining or process / manufacturing industries in a similar role
*Leadership and person management skills
*Relevant engineering or technical qualifications
*Engineering HNC/HND or degree would be advantageous, particularly Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
*Good interpersonal and presentation skills
*Valid Safety Passport
