I am recruiting for a Technical Director/Technical Design Authority to work for a Major European Engineering Consultancy on the Riyadh ITS Project.
Role:
Responsible for the technical design, specifications, installation and performance for all parts of the ITS. Key task is to evaluate the performance of the ITS system (including equipment) and especially the services provided by the AVM/RTPI, AFC and JP. Advice, guide and coordinate actions to meet the requirements of a world class integrated public transport system. Responsible for Project Delivery and Control. Ensuring that the project is delivered on time and to budget, including Planning of project and Monitoring of project progress. Resource management, including management of staff calendar. Ensuring that testing is performed rigorously according to agreed test strategy, plans and procedures.
Duties
1. Ensure that the solutions as designed by the suppliers are fit for purpose (as expressed by client representatives) and that any deficiencies in the suppliers' obligations in this regard are flagged to the Contracts Senior Manager and Project Director.
2. Ensure that the overall business requirements of the client are met by the integrated system by, inter-alia, working in collaboration with other project workstreams.
3. Review and assess requirement changes, and ensure that any related design changes maintain the overall fitness for purpose of the system.
4. Provide detailed assessments of suppliers solutions with regard to the client requirement of "World Class" solution.
Remuneration:
65,000 SAR per month (£12,300 per month) TAX Free
