Our client is a leading membership, assurance and skill solutions services company. The organisation is approved on the Register of End-point Assessment Organisations to deliver end-point assessment for apprenticeships for a range of standards.

About the role:
You will be responsible for the assessment strategy with specific responsibility for end-point assessment tools design, development, etc. You will also be responsible for the delivery of high quality end-point assessment and ensure compliance.

Operational Leadership duties to include:
Lead on the assessment strategy and end-point assessment tool design and delivery to meet the regulatory requirements of both the RoEpAO conditions of acceptance and Institute for Apprenticeships framework for External Quality Assurance.
Design and deliver the assessment strategy to ensure high quality, fit for purpose end-point assessment.
Work with Chief Examiners to select question items for knowledge tests and other end-point test items specific to a standard/pathway as part of internal quality
Deliver end-point assessment training (pre-gateway) to employers, training providers and independent technical experts, auditors, external examiners and final decision panel members in line with the requirements of each individual standard.
Ensure effective risk rating and performance management of technical experts/associates to meet agreed service levels.
Lead all assessment outputs including final decision panels, external examiner activity, audit, monitoring, final grade moderation events and standardisation.
Deliver internal quality assurance of activities to meet the regulatory requirements of External Quality Assurance of apprenticeships by the IfA and/or associated bodies including, but not limited to, surveys, reports and requests for information.

Person specification:
Education/Knowledge requirements:
Graduate or working at graduate level
Knowledge of quality assurance and assessment from either a qualification and/or apprenticeship end-point assessment perspective
Knowledge of apprenticeship and technical education policy landscape

Work Experience:
Demonstrable experience in a role of responsibility, relating to quality assurance of education, standards and/or frameworks
Track record of managing teams and operational delivery, driving continuous service improvements
Experience of developing and implementing effective reporting metrics and exceeding performance requirements

Key Competencies:
Effective team leadership skills with the ability to develop a high performing team
Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills, able to influence internally and externally
Able to develop effective relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders and customer?

A background in utilities, energy, construction, etc would be ideal!
