Our client is seeking to recruit 2 experienced mould makers / senior Joiners to work within their expanding business at Tuxford Near Retford for an immediate start. These are ongoing positions with an immediate start for the right candidate.
We are seeking experienced Formwork Joiner with at least 10 years experience within the precast / mould work sectors.
Although Company training is provided, it is minimal and so experience is essential.
Ideally, the successful candidate will possess most of if not all of the following:
* Operate fixed woodworking machines to cut / rip timber as per drawings and/or cutting lists.
* Operate portable electric saws to cut / rip timber as per drawings and/or cutting lists.
* Prepare packs of cut / ripped timber for collection in readiness for fabrication of wooden moulds.
* Prepare re-usable timber in readiness for use again i.e. stringers for stair production.
* Apply varnishes or other coatings to timber as necessary.
* Off-load deliveries of timber into storage racks within the joinery workshop.
* Ensure safe stacking and handling of timber and board within the workshop.
* Adhere to Company Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times, wearing specified PPE and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
* Any other duties assigned by supervisors/managers commensurate with the job.* Experience within the industry.
* Experienced Concrete Formwork Joiner.
* Experienced working with Precast and Onsite to the Highways standards.
* Architectural Precast experienced preferable.
* Heavy Precast experience preferable.
* Knowledge of construction drawings.
* Adaptable.
* Willing to work longer hours to get jobs finished.
* Counterbalance forklift license (preferable not essential).
Rates are competitive and paid hourly PAYE.
