The Role
This opportunity is rewarding, extremely challenging and will be a unique proposition for those who thrive on making their mark. As an European Sales Manager for this globally recognised organisation, you will be required to lead on the European Sales Strategy within their heavy duty vehicle division, responsible for the overall business development, establishing relationships with existing and prospect clients to maximise profit-share in the region.
You will have exceptional experience and knowledge of the following:

Establishing European Sales success by using existing organisational relationships to target decision makers within heavy duty, automotive and aftermarket segments
Designing, building and executing a strategic plan to achieve doubling of sales within a fixed period
Understanding global relationships to approach and build relationships with director level contacts within purchasing, also having a ground level understanding of target market
Ability to understand contractual supply chains within target market, applying insight and analysis to pricing concepts
Liaising with Technical experts to understand all products and their potential applications
The Person
Are you an experienced Senior Sales Manager from a heavy duty / commercial automotive parts background?
Do you have a good understanding of Technical Sales within German and European OEMs?
Do you have 10 plus years in a corporate and global sales function?
You will have the ability to think strategically and conceptually, yet drive operational execution, continuous improvement and implementation. Possess the ambition to grow new business as well as maximise existing, deliver excellence, growth and maintain a reputation for high standards within business. Along with excellent interpersonal skills, you will also be looking to progress this into a multi-divisional European Sales Leader role and manage a European team.
