Regional Supply Chain Manager Location: Aylesford Kier Construction Southern is looking to recruit a Regional Supply Chain Manager. The successful post-holder will focus on developing sourcing strategies which ensure Kier and its strategic suppliers and sub-contractors gain competitive advantage within the market place. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop sourcing strategies which ensure Kier, its strategic suppliers and sub-contractors gain competitive advantage within the market place
  • Develop and manage the interface between Group Procurement and Regional Purchasing Management
  • Maintain compliance with the supply strategy, purchasing agreements, frameworks, specification and procedures
  • Provide support on all supply chain matters
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must have demonstrable procurement proficiency of both materials and sub-contractors
  • Background of successful supply chain delivery
  • Experience of negotiating and managing group framework agreements with suppliers, manufacturers and sub-contractors
  • Capability of delivering significant cost savings through vendor negotiations.
