We are looking to find an experienced Timber Frame/SIPS Designer who has a passion for their design work.
The client has offices in the Channel Islands and would like the new addition to their team to be based on the beautiful island of Jersey. The projects they work on vary between bepoke one-off building that are very "Grand Designs-esque" to resedential housing for local authorities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Previous experience in timber structure design and the construction industry
- Must be experienced with AutoCAD - trained in Consultec or WoodEngine would be advantageous
- SIP design experience would be beneficial
- Working knowledge of current building regulations and standards would be advantageous
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise direct with customers with impeccable attention to details
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and PC literate
- Practically minded and a team player
