Operational Analyst

Location: Lincolnshire

Contract: Anglian Water

Responsible for pulling data together from multiple sources for essential analysis and understanding. An ability to represent the information through multiple formats to show performance trends.

The role also requires a level of administration duties to support the Reinstatement Management team including collation of data for reports, wages and various other administration processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completion of data collation and comparisons
  • Formation of reports to show performance against targets
  • Analysis of data to show key themes, trends and issues
  • Completion of wages spread sheet
  • Conciliation of street works report to ensure reportable data is accurate and up to date
  • General administration duties including absence & holiday trackers
  • Updating and chasing Insurance Reporting forms, and investigations to insurance claims.
  • Updating all coordinating HR departments with changes to Personnel
  • Completion of reports from the vehicle tracker systems and ad hoc requests for information from this system
  • Updating vehicles and drivers on the tracker system
  • Tracking Defects and Interims and ensuring investigation and feedback occurs in a timely manner
  • Identifying opportunities to mitigating risks (Section 74, FPNs and Category A,B and C)

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • IT literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to be able to develop and use spreadsheets
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook with a good level of English grammar and spelling
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful reports through a variety of media
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Able to show initiative, working on own or as part of a team.
  • Experience using a vehicle tracker system
  • Educated to 2 A level standard or equivalent
