** We are looking for a graduate AND senior engineer to join this fantastic light gauge steel company in Northampton
Our client designs and manufactures a light steel frame building system, with a high efficiency thermal envelope. Due to the continued success of the system, there now exists an opportunity for two Structural Engineers to join their manufacturing facility in Northamptonshire. One opening is for a Graduate Engineer and the other for a Senior/Chartered Engineer.
About the role:
As a pivotal part of the design and manufacturing process, the role takes responsibility for translating original architect's drawings into working detail for structural design and analysis.
Liaison between the pre-construction and estimating team to assist with estimates, and managing technical issues and questions raised by the architects, client engineers and site crews.
Attend meetings without support (If required) and to speak about technical issues and promote the company. To be smart in appearance and conduct all affairs both inside and outside your normal place of work in a professional and efficient manner that promotes the Company and enhances its reputation.
You will have:
: Degree qualification in Structural Engineering
: Software experience - AutoCAD essential
: Ambition to become chartered if not already would be advantageous
: Sound working knowledge of the offsite construction industry
: Flexible approach to working within a team environment
: Minimum 2 years light steel frame experience preferred
